Safety
Safety is key to a successful project. At Elting NW we demonstrate the highest of safety standards.
Our safety record is among the best in the industry. Our experience modification rate variesbetween .75 & 1.05. We have a drug testing program in place. We have new employee orientation and train employees in First Aid, CPR, and SDS. Most are also trained in Confined Space Entry and Competent Person Skills. Equipment is kept up-to-date and in good repair. Safety equipment – All PPE – is provided. We work with our subcontractors to see that they are operating safely and when a subcontractor ourselves, work with the General Contractor (or owners) safety experts to create a unilaterally safe project environment.
Weekly jobsite safety meetings are held on each project. We do not discriminate against anyone or any firm. We also use the federal “e-verify” program for all new hires and have used it for our existing entire staff. We attempt to have trainees on every project, whether required or not.
